Area Information
The 2010 Danskin Triathlon Prep Camp will be held at the race site in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Pleasant Prairie is located approximately mid-way between Chicago's O'Hare airport and Milwaukee's Mitchell Field. The camp location is the RecPlex in Prairie Springs Park. The RecPlex is located approximately 2 miles north of the Illinois state line and 1.5 miles east of the I-94 expressway.
The Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha, and Bristol area offers a multitude of places to see and things to do, for camp participants who want to spend a little extra time or who may be traveling with family or friends. Among the most popular area attractions are:
- Bristol Renaissance Faire
- Where Knights are Noble, Maids are Merry and Turkey Legs are Titanic. Just west of I-94 at the IL/WI border.
- Dinosaur Discovery Museum

- Prime Outlets at Pleasant Prairie
- Outlet shopping center with more than 90 brand name stores including Coach Factory, Nike, adidas, Under Armour, Restoration Hardware, Columbia Sportswear, and Polo Ralph Lauren. I-94 and Hwy. 165.
